This post is about Solutions — recommended approaches to our projects.
Why Solutions?
When we started out with CodeCrafters, we were focused on the challenge aspect of the learning experience.
As we signed up new learners and paid attention to feedback (especially critical feedback) — we realised that we had the opportunity to not only challenge our learners, but also share best practices, alternate approaches, and maximise the return on the time invested in solving a stage.
As a starting point, we've now added a Solution button on all CodeCrafters stages, for all customers.
The Solutions Popup
The button launches into a popup which contains a recommended Diff that gets you through the stage, as well as an Explanation describing the approach.
We recommend initially attempting without referring to the solution. Once you've solved a stage (or attempted a few times), you'll find the Solutions tab a great way to validate your approach or discover an alternate perspective.
Solutions is a new feature currently available on select courses. We're working on incrementally expanding our catalog and bringing it to all courses.
Get started
You can access the Solutions feature by visiting any stage on a CodeCrafters course. They're live on select courses, and will be live for all over time.
